Direct Eggs Ltd is a London based company offering high quality healthy eggs direct from the producer to the wholesalers in United Kingdom.We are the General Representative of Ovotek in United Kingdom.
Ovotek Plc has got many-years experience in egg production it has been operating for over 20 years and is currently one of the largest companies in Poland. Our commercial offer includes both free range fresh eggs and liquid, pasteurized egg products. Moreover, the company breeds hatchlings. Poultry breeding is mostly performed in a system of hutches. We take care of every production stage, making sure that all EU guidelines are maintained and to be happy with our clients satisfaction. We continuously supervise the production, from the chicks hatching to the quality control of products sold directly to the clients. Individual recipes influence the flavour and values of our final products. In its beginnings the company has been operating chicks breeding in a bedding system. At the beginning of the 1990s all facilities have been equipped with technologies allowing to breed in hutches system. The introduction of the solution allowed to increase the production and reduce the production costs. Machines for eggs sorting and packing have been purchased in that time. New production and storage facilities have also been constructed. The company started its development towards egg supplying, mainly to large retail networks. A decision on erecting an egg processing plant has been made in 2000. The most modern production line has been chosen for the plant, including facilities for mechanical whipping with egg content separating option, product homogenization, pasteurization and product aseptic packaging system. The pasteurized egg mass production is conducted only from our own farms products. Modern technology, fresh material of highest quality, continuous and detailed control of technological parameters and maintaining the procedures related to production cleanliness and hygiene, and full certification of materials used are a guarantee for healthiness and durability of our products. The farm and the egg processing plant is under continous supervision from the sanitary and veterinary services, which allows us to continuously control our products quality. At the beginning of 2004 our company has been granted a permission from the Regional Veterinary Doctor to continue our egg products sales into the EU markets.
The products reach customers in the whole country and with individual arrangements, other European countries. We have our own cooling transport vehicles as well as cooperate with a transport company, which specialises in delivering products in controlled temperatures (according to the HACCP and ISO standards), guaranteeing our clients the best possible quality of the products delivered.
